Led by Michele Holmen, her 12 years in the event industry have created a wide reaching web of professional and creative partners that have allowed her to build a stellar team. Together, they are passionate about creating a “wow” experience and surpassing the client’s and guests highest expectations. Her team of experienced managers, designers and vendors are each able to handle any event challenge with the utmost integrity and professionalism.

 

Whether an event is an intimate gathering of 20, or a fundraiser BBQ for 1500 guests, Plain and Fancy Events goal is to articulate the client’s vision and identity through even the smallest detail to create an unforgettable event experience. From choosing the venue to the fold of a napkin, P&F Events strives for the most excellent presentation in every event aspect.

Michele discovered her inner event warrior twelve years ago when she entered the fast paced world of corporate events.

A variety of events and budgets often meant she had to wear many hats (even construction) which gave her a greater appreciation for the mechanics of building an event from Ground Zero. Ultimately, she found her niche by producing and designing innovative events that integrated the client’s brand and message in creative and unique ways.

 

Michele resides in Newport Beach with her husband, two daughters and 3 dogs. Stella, her loyal, long-haired dachshund is often by her side while she sketches out her next big production. She is the inspiration for her logo.
